This mixed media canvas ala Andy Skinner has fun techniques with various types of paints and mediums. I worked with spray, acrylic and metallic paint, texture paste, gel medium, stamps, masks and and and.
The canvas is finally finished off with a nice bloom-girl mask from Prima and some flower embellies. More pictures here.
…I have been busy for making some layouts for my first workshop at Scrapdelight…and last weekend I finally had my first workshop…I was nervous but in the end all went just fine. 🙂 Most of the layouts below are made with some techniques of using different glues to create colorful and effective background designs…for more info’s just click on the links below the picture…
The first layout is made during the Scrap-Battle in the SBW-Forum. I was first to start lifting…and I managed to finish in less than an hour…It was so much fun and exciting, however, unfortunaly we were about 5 minutes to slow and the other team won…more pics here.
My latest two layouts. Both are projects using much mixed media as well as using my newest possesion the silhouette. One I made during a workshop at Scrapdelight and the other I made after having followed a worshop at the Scrapbookwerkstatt. I am getting really hooked on this mixed media thing for creating your own background. It is so much fun. you just start and see what happens. More pictures and infos on the story behind you can find here: Speeltijd or Samen ontdekken.
Lately I have tried out some new techniques by using more and more paint in my layouts. Here you can see the results. The third one has actually been published in the 5th issue of the ‘My Prima Place’! Som my first publication!!! I am so happy and proud…for more pictures of each layout see the links below.
Here are two layouts that I have worked on lately.
The first I made in memory of my grandmother. This photo means a lot to me, three generations together. I made this LO based on an example that I encountered on the Prima Marketing blog of the Songbird collection. More photos here.
The second one is actually my very first LO ever. A bit messy (sorry the pictures are not too good.) I personally love the colors though. More photos here.
